Photography In The Maldives

Here are another few shots I took while I was on holiday in the beautiful Maldives, again these where taken with my Nikon Coolpix pocket camera, I really wish I had the Canon Mark iii to take with me, they would have been outstanding images. Eventually I will go back and take some professional shots!
You can't really go wrong with photography in the Maldives because it's such a gorgeous place, all you have to do is point and shoot and you're guaranteed a magnificent photograph. These particular images were taken on an amazing little island not far from Male called Fihalhohi. As proof that they are my photographs there's a picture of a blonde me outside of the restaurant and on the beach.

Practice

I've currently got a standard Nikon Cool pix 20.1 Mega pixel pocket camera but soon I will be purchasing the new Canon EOS 5D Mark iii SLR! I'm literally so excited but I need to work on my photography techniques in preparation, so I've taken some practise shots in the past couple of months to get my self up to speed.
   I've also been lucky enough to practise with one of my very generous colleagues Canon Mark ii so I won't be in shock when I get the Mark iii and hopefully I'll know how to use it. Unfortunately I didn't take very interesting pictures as I was just tinkering with it so I won't be uploading them, but I did get the hang of it a lot quicker than I thought I would.
